Extended Visits

Although we continue to offer short roadshow visits, many clients now book us for longer tours, from a week to several months. This can be surprisingly cheap, since we now have a network of trained staff around the country. We can also send several Get Cycling units to operate simultaneously in one area.

These are the principal benefits of an extended visit:

  • It is more cost-effective. Allowing us to make various savings, which are passed on to you.

  • It can address different audiences during the week: schools, public places, workplaces, shopping centres, etc.

  • The size and impact of a Get Cycling extended visit help you draw in internal and external resources. The various target audiences, internal colleagues and external bodies recognise your extensive commitment and are more willing to give it time and attention.

  • Publicity costs fall proportionally, allowing higher impact promotional methods. Radio and even regional TV often become involved in the promotion of Get Cycling extended visits.

  • Your own planning and management time is maximised. The incremental effort of organising additional events is small compared with the outcomes.

  • We can apply more of our own managerial resources. Our senior management help you form your strategy, and bring creative ideas based on years of experience. You also get a dedicated project manager, a planning visit from us and extensive promotional support.

  • For a small extra fee we can send you a trained facilitator for a week. He or she will take instructions from you, and present in a highly professional manner to various potential hosts in your area, giving you a completed job with everyone signed up and fully aware of what they are getting, and with all media PR in place.
